Let me start by saying that I would give 5 stars if the item I received was in the correct shape and working properly. The metal spring on one side has been screwed on at an angle so the spring doesn't hold together and if I don't hold onto it during use the metal spring loosens and it falls apart which is inconvenient. used in this way and very cumbersome and difficult to pin down properly. However, they are very sharp and cut the nails very well, trimming the cuticles cleanly. I only wish they weren't spoiled otherwise they would be the best I've ever had. Wasn't worth sending back as I've been waiting ages for it in the post and my cuticles really needed some TLC ASAP so I just sorted it out but am definitely upset with the state I received it in :(
