We live in South Florida and have experienced some "street" power strips with fairly constant monsoons lol. I didn't know anything about this brand but the reviews were great and the price was right so we decided to give it a try. Our requirements seem minimal (no construction site or an emergency location), but it's difficult to survive in our area on a semi-covered porch. The rain falls sideways with all the wind. We probably overload them a bit (1 LED lamp, USB phone charger, tower fan, mini air purifier and insect trap). Luckily it has an overload check so I can't do that. It has 1500 joules, 6 outlets (all used to the limit), 3 USB ports and a 9.1 foot cord. The cable is flat but short for the length we need. But there is a detachable wall mount. So we shifted it a bit and it stayed. It was a great find, especially at this price.
