I bought these at the last minute for a trip to Scotland. I had a lot of hiking planned and hadn't been able to find a comfortable pair of waterproof hiking shoes. I had decided to wear my comfortable non-waterproof sneakers instead, until I found these. With no time to break them in I hesitantly brought them along to Scotland. My first day's hike was 16 miles in mostly rainy, wet conditions. I packed my comfortable sneakers in my bag just in case, but never needed them. These sneakers were absolutely WATERPROOF, supportive, comfortable and rubbed no blisters at all! I couldn't be happier with these shoes. and at a great price! Ordered my true size and wore medium-weight socks.
