Review on πŸš‚ Wood Trick Railway Set: Wooden Train Toy by Michael Copeland

Revainrating 4 out of 5

To hell with toothpicks!

I bought this model railway to get my father (who has dementia) into brain activity. He really enjoys working with me on these wooden models. This was our fourth model, but the first Wooden Trick model. I hated working with toothpicks as "nails" holding everything together. They hurt my fingers after making small holes over and over again, piercing my fingers, breaking them too many times. Some of the instructions weren't specific enough so I had to disassemble the train to fix the error from step 1 since the other side of the part wasn't shown. After all, my father had a great time and the train is very impressive. It won't run smoothly for some reason (couldn't find a latch to stop it from rolling forward) but when I ran it backwards it ran long enough to see how all the parts work together. cool I will not be buying Wood Trick again unless they are the only ones selling the product I want. All because of those damn toothpicks!

Pros
  • practical item
Cons
  • so far so good
