Review on USB Powered Computer Speakers | Portable Mini Clip-on πŸ”Š Soundbar for Desktops, Laptops, Notebooks, PCs, Tablets - Wired Speaker by Edris Holwell

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Should have gotten this a year ago.

Here, in the year of the plague, Zoom (and others like it) became a fact of life. Unfortunately, the sound from my laptop speakers combined with the weakness of my aging ears has compromised the quality of this life. I tried a different external speaker and was practically transported to a whole new world where I could even hear a quieter colleague - a dramatic change. While I liked (and still love) this other external speaker, it has flaws that make it difficult to use. However, this inspired me to get it. It's very affordable and delivers the sound quality I could have hoped for at a very modest price. And it can be used conveniently as a standalone speaker or as a stereo pair mounted to the top of my laptop screen. And therein lies my only complaint: the clips that hold it to the edge of the screen feel Mac-optimized: thin and flat. My Wintel laptop lid is slightly thicker and has a beveled edge. I finally got the clips, but that probably won't be my preferred use. However, I have other favorite tools with more serious flaws - I can live with that annoyance. I rounded 4.8 stars down to 5.
