Review on 10FT Outdoor Offset Cantilever Patio Umbrella W/Fade & UV Resistant Fabric, 5 Level 360 Rotation Aluminum Pole For Deck Pool Backyard Garden by Tyra Comeaux

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Good fabric, squeaky frame

Updated review (3 star)Customer Service reached out and offered a full refund or replacement stating that the umbrella should not be creaky. I opted for a refund and updated my review to reflect the proactive customer service. Another positive note is that the umbrella did stand up to the recent California storms pretty well. I expected it to snap when we forgot to put it down before the first storm but it held up remarkably well.Updated review (1 star)The umbrella has gotten even creakier to the point that it loudly creaks at the slightest breeze, making it very difficult to relax while using it. I do not expect the frame to last the season. The ikea umbrella I have is much sturdier and does not make a sound.Previous review (4 stars)I have 2 other umbrellas for reference: 1) purple leaf and 2) Ikea. The purple leaf is by far sturdier and has a more premium feel.but it is 5x the price. I do not worry about this umbrella in a moderate breeze. It is also much easier to adjust despite being bigger (I have the 10' square one)The ikea umbrella is better in some ways, worse in others at a similar price point. Ikea umbrella has a sturdier frame, but the umbrella fabric is thinner.wikiwiki umbrellaPros: price, nice umbrella fabricCons: creaky frame in light wind, can be more difficult to crank. Base is lower profile than the purple leaf base, but it is very wideFor the price, this is a good umbrella if you don't mind the creakiness.
