FIX: My DVD player no longer charges due to power cord connection issues. It has to do with the DVD player, not the cable, as I've tried both the car charger and the regular power cable. The DVD player has not been used much and has been well cared for so I am disappointed that it has only worked well for around 3 years. I started having problems about a year ago and they got so bad that now I can't use them. I have mixed feelings about this DVD player. Pros: - The screen looks good and the resolution is good enough for most things. - Buttons are durable. and they seem to hold up. - I love that it can accept USB flash drives and memory cards. - I emailed the Buyee team a few questions and their replies were very quick and helpful. It would be possible to connect an external hard drive to play things as it has a USB port, but this is not a supported device. Buyee's team said that external hard drives are too big and difficult to play.- I bought a USB stick to play movies, but I had to convert each movie to MPEG format because DVD player doesn't support MP4 format is supported. To do this, I had to download a special program, and all the transformations take a lot of time. The most problematic thing is that the power cable and the 12V cable (to connect to the car) are VERY SHORT. My daughter is still sitting backwards in a car seat and the cord to the DVD player is very difficult to reach and if it were a little shorter it wouldn't be possible at all. I considered returning it for this reason, but I think I'll just try to find a longer cable and get the most out of the battery. I haven't used it for more than a few days so we'll see how it holds up. .UPDATE: Buyee customer support has been extremely helpful and responsive with all my difficulties. Apparently the standard length of the charging cable should be 2 meters, although I received 1 meter. They offered to send a new charging cable of the required length free of charge. Since I needed it quickly, they offered a refund to cover the cost of buying a new charging cable. The service I have received from Buyee has been impeccable and the DVD player has been reliable for me so far. I'm a happy customer.
