This is my absolute favorite item I have bought from Revain. It looks great and it's very smooth and quiet, I mean it's quiet. Drives a lot of air even at low speeds. I used a hidden mount with no bottom bar, which I think looks better anyway. I was concerned from the photos that the motor might look too big, but with the recessed mount it looks fantastic. The instructions are not very good, mostly pictures of tightening or loosening a screw. It also shows a character that is needed for some reason, I don't know why. I enjoyed hanging out. I didn't install according to the instructions because I didn't have help and was afraid the blades might fall off and break. After installing the ceiling mount, I placed the motor on the first rung at the top of the 8 foot ladder, cut the wires to length, then connected the wires and attached the motor. Then I installed the blades and light.
