I just received this unit, and haven't really had a need to use it yet, but I played around with it a bit to make sure it worked. The setup is pretty simple using the provided instructions. It has a nice clear picture and the one thing I really like, and a main reason for purchasing, is that it has auto focus and zoom. I happened to have a splinter in my finger when I was playing with it that I couldn't see. I had the camera about 2 inches away from my finger, and was able to focus in on the splinter easily. When I took my finger away, it focused quickly to a wall in my garage 30 feet away. Another nice thing is the ability to adjust the lights on the camera all the way down until they are completely off. Other brands I've tried only dimmed partially and would still be too bright to not wash out the picture. The camera is a bit bulkier than others, but I suppose that's a trade off for the auto focusing camera with the ability to zoom.
