This Trial Pack is ideal for pastel or colored pencil artists who want to try out different grades of sanded art paper without having to buy a whole pack of each grade. It contains one sheet of each of the seven most common varieties. Each sheet is custom sized - they are 6" x 11" so you will either need to trim it to a standard size for the finished product or just use it to study color or cost. I'm an aspiring pastel artist and this type of paper is one of my teacher's favorites (she usually uses grade 400). According to her, this paper can contain many layers of pigment and can also be dampened for the underpainting technique.
