Small but cumbersome to use

I'd say this thing holds a fairly large camera, allowing you to do long exposures with little to no extra in your bag. So if you're looking for the absolute most portable tripod, you've probably just found it. But no matter your camera is big or small, you will feel uncomfortable using this thing. It's basically a single adjustment screw for tilt and pan control. There's a reason virtually any regular tripod doesn't work like this. Usually, when framing your shot from a tripod, you want to set up one of these things at once. And because of its small size, its use in terms of framing is even more difficult. I've also tried using it with my small Anker portable projector, which attaches to a tripod screw. On the other hand, yes you can make it work and it will even handle that almost 500g projector, but how difficult it is to level and center it at the same time. In this application, you can at least configure it and leave it in place, but even for that it's far from ideal. I'm not going to throw this thing away, it works. It's just that the trade-offs of making it so small make it difficult to use. I'll be looking for something bigger and more reliable, even if that means I need a little more weight.
