I bought a set of six. In the beginning everything worked. The built-in voltage regulators of the AMS1117 must be current limiting and thermal limiting. But the ICs used on these breadboards are neither - I wonder why. In the meantime, four of them are defective due to a brief short circuit on the breadboard and pass on the input voltage to the output rail, some with a 5-volt regulator simply smoke until they fail, some burn with a continuous light after a failure. As nice as the shape is to allow for direct attachment to a breadboard without soldering, the voltage regulators are too flimsy to buy this set again - about $1.50 each, which is also overpriced.
