Have been using this for a few years now, just bought a replacement in case my current one breaks. Love it! Much easier to use than other types of curling irons as they are self-gripping. It gets very hot almost immediately. The stiff bristles grip and hold hair for smooth, frizz-free curls. I have never burned myself when using it properly! You should not roll the barrel onto your skin or grab the barrel yourself as it is naturally hot as curling irons should be. The bristles are not hot so they will not burn. Never damaged my hair. Multiple temperature settings, great long cord. Excellent styling product.
