First, they run small. Luckily I checked all the customer reviews before I bought them so I ordered 2 large sizes (I usually wear 11 so I ordered 13) and they fit perfectly (I voted 'Too small' in the review to buyers to warn of this sizing issue). The problem is not so much the size as the width. They are really thin which is the main reason you need to order larger sizes. However, if you have a "fat" foot, they won't fit. See my photo, I have a skinny foot and it covers the entire (or most) width of the flip flop. At the same time, the strap sits well on my leg since, as I said, my legs are skinny. If I had bigger feet, they would pinch. So bottom line: only buy them for narrow feet and order 2 sizes up from your normal size. They look very nice, are of good quality and are very good value (they cost me $20).
