I bought this for my wife for her 2014 Chrysler Town & Country as one of her Christmas gifts. I bought this through Car Alarm Depot (supplier) and they contacted me the next day to get the vehicle info they need to program for me. It arrived very quickly and is already programmed. After she opened it up for Christmas, I prepared the car for installation. I watched a few videos on YouTube to learn more about how to set up the machine for the bench press. I also downloaded the installation guide (which was very vague) and even researched some information on some forums on the internet. All of this information was relatively easy to find. I strongly recommend that you do some further training beforehand. However, it's still a very simple setup. It actually took longer to disassemble the panels I needed to get to the back of the ignition module. First remove the side panel from the dashboard. Make sure you have the necessary removal tools. There's no point in spoiling your interior when the right tools are available at Harbor Freight. Then remove the lower panel under the steering wheel by pulling out the plastic bushings at the bottom and on the sides. I also recommend removing the headlight switch trim. You can do this by using a small fairing removal tool to remove the fairing around it and unscrew the 4 screws that hold it in place. This allows you to connect the parking light cable more easily. After that, I would recommend removing the airbag at the bottom of the dash. To do this, remove the 4 9/32 screws that attach to the metal piece just below the bottom panel. Put everything aside. Once everything is removed and stowed away you should be able to see the back of the ignition module and remove the necessary wiring harness. It's the black closest to the steering column. If you have already watched YouTube videos on installation, it will be easy. Make connections and you're done. Now the programming step. There is also a YouTube video for this. Then clean the installation and secure the module with cable ties. Screw the parking light resistor to something metallic and assemble the plates in reverse order. All in all, I highly recommend this product. I also highly recommend using Car Alarm Depot if they sell too. Very good product.
