The handle is HOT, REGARDLESS OF WHAT; Cheap materials!
Bought this kettle last week (20181106). Since then we have been using it every day. The handle gets too hot, whether on the side or on edge. QCrow sent me an email with the same content shortly after delivery, although it's not here. Biggest problem today, after one (1) week of use, the whistle broke. There is a rivet that attaches the whistle to the teapot, this is a poor quality rivet and has broken. Avoid.
