impossible to program and difficult to use

I had a Sigma for about ten years that I bought on a big organized week-long trip after my other unit broke. Programming instructions were impossible to follow, had to get the dealer to figure it out for me. Even after that, it was not a simple device. Eventually, after about a year, I replaced it with Cateye and won't be going back. Last year my wife bought a new Sigma from REI against my will. I struggled for over an hour to figure out the programming instructions, finally threw them in the trash and bought her a Cateye. MUCH more user friendly, easier to read, more functional etc. Don't waste your money on a SIGMA bike computer.
