Review on Rhino USA Heavy Duty Vehicle by Patrick Reynolds

nice but. - Ratchet

Read the reviews and you don't mind that the black painted webbing turns your hands black no problem. Read a review about them "loosening" when traveling although maybe it was just an accident and I decided to buy them to keep my 71 Torino on a flatbed truck. He picked up the trailer and car well, built the car onto the trailer and fixed the car to the factor trailer and car tie with two ratchet straps. fit and happy. took two packing straps and wrapped them around the main frame as there are no factory car mounts up front. quer snapped two in front and rejoiced the car was assembled and secured. drove 10 minutes to a gas station to refuel a pickup and found the four ratchet straps were loose. tightened and driven 100 km. When I got to my destination, two latches almost touched the base of the trailer. and two fronts. I now know the ratchet hasn't loosened or failed. It's cheap webbing that stretches under load and keeps stretching. I think this is a quality issue and that the manufacturer should use a different brand of webbing. I personally would not use this webbing to braid my antique garden chairs. The webbing stretch caused the machine to rub through the chafing sheath and strap on one of my belts, resulting in a front call. kinda angry.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • flimsy
