We received these for use in our draped area during display. The 12 inch depth meant we could actually walk past each other during the show in our cramped storage/office space. They are easy to connect and pack well by wrapping them with tape or putting them in a box. All connecting tubes and legs are tucked into the shelves when removed to prevent parts from coming loose. We had to be careful to stabilize them, the 12" depth makes them a little wobbly when all the shelves are full. A few bungee cords to hold them together will help in the future. It would be nice to have a connector, like some of the home shop shelves I have.
