These absolutely ruined my little one's hair. All of this was spoiled by the fact that she wore raised sides so much that she went from beautiful blonde hair to a long mullet to the middle of her back. Her hair on the sides is completely broken off and pinned up with spikes. It startled me how quickly her hair broke and fell out. I called the doctor thinking it was beriberi. Then to quickly understand that these were the places where I inserted the piglets or just pulled up their sides. My barber said DISCARD IMMEDIATELY. She said they are only used at the hair salon for updos/special occasions and she hates using them even for a day on adults because they ruin and break hair. Lesson learned. 4 long months later and my 3 year old hair is still a mullet with thin hair and short sides! 😢. My heart breaks when I look at pictures of her beautiful hair from 6-8 months ago.
