So I'm quite a picky person when it comes to backpacks, I needed a backpack for college and travel. I wanted something durable and something that would really fit everything I need. I've had this backpack for about 4 months now and I love it. Advantages: - comfortable to wear. Has good padding on the back and shoulder straps so it doesn't hurt to carry it even when loaded with heavy books. wide mouth. I love that I can see and access everything in my bag when I open it. Lots of space! It's only slightly larger than the average backpack, but holds 10 times more. This is seriously similar to Mary Poppins' situation. - Bags! Has a very large front pocket, several inner pockets that can fit a phone, some pens, chewing gum, etc. Also, it has a laptop sleeve and a sleeve that I can put my 6th iPad in. Both are soft and have a seat belt. There is a back pocket that I personally don't use. Not a crazy amount of pockets, just a good amount. - Back strap to keep backpack in suitcase - Huge side pockets easily fit any water bottle or reusable coffee mug and make it difficult to put back in/out. Heavy).-Easy to clean/no dirt visible/nice fabric! Easy to clean - Love the ability to connect an external battery! - Great price for what you honestly get. I was not expecting that! Cons: As other reviews say (which is why my rating is 4 and not 5 stars), the tabs break. Mine broke after about 3 months. HOWEVER the zippers are good quality so all you have to do is replace the pull tab I made with some metal zippers I ordered from Amazon for $5. The backpack is so perfect in every other way that I didn't really care. You have to hold the pull tab to open the backpack (meaning it's not easy to open with one hand). I don't blame the backpack, every wide neck backpack I've tried has had this issue. If you want a backpack that opens with one hand, don't buy a backpack with a framed opening. I have tried many backpacks including some very expensive ones and some Timbuktu messenger bags and this is by far my favorite backpack! I love it won't be back. If you buy it, spend the extra $5 on some metal leaves, it's worth it!
