IS THIS WHAT TO BUY? Yes of course. Aside from being a great price, the EACHSHOT is well built and much more versatile than competing flashlights that lack what I consider important features. Some lack color temperature. That's a must, and here's everything you need to know about color temperature: A portable light like this is set by default to what's called the daylight color temperature of around 5500 Kelvin, which is what the slightly bluish appearance of available light without incandescent bulbs is. So, without adjusting the color temperature scale, the ambient light is well balanced on a cloudy day. However, when shooting videos or photos, many of us want to offset the warmer incandescent light we have in the room with a mini LED fill like this. So just turn the knob up to 3300K to match the warmer 'color' of most incandescent bulbs. These are really the only settings you need if you don't want to try special effects. There is no need to use irritating color gels. Best of all EASYSHOT features are the simplest yet not found in most similar LED lights. When illuminating a face (including yours!), the ceiling diffuser softens the light significantly. I recommend using it all the time, even if it takes up extra space in your camera bag. After all, you don't want to shed general light on the subject. For a natural look, reduce the EASYSHOT intensity. When it comes to professional lighting, lower brightness produces natural results. I hope this overly long review has been of use. This tiny and easily rechargeable device is a fantastic find at a reasonable price. My search is finally over! Keep shooting harder!
