If you are looking for a quality lamp, you will likely be disappointed with the quality of the rod, mounting plate cover and glass. However, if you're looking for something better than Build Grade but at an affordable price, this might be the way to go. We installed on a 12 inch sloping ceiling. The extra height has made aesthetic concerns less of an issue, as we can't say the bottom links don't quite match. I also don't like the overlay as it feels like it's sticking out of the ceiling instead of flowing smoothly with it. This appears to be a design decision (or mistake) and not an installation error (hung by a seasoned family electrician). The glass is thinner than I expected and certainly wouldn't last long if it were lower and could take any kind of impact (for example I don't recommend doing this over a table it might hit). In fact, the first order had a notch in the world. It looks really nice in our little corner of the entryway and once we had all the parts (no damage) we were able to find the right drop length for our space. I had to order twice and send back once. It took two orders to get all the parts needed for assembly and installation - each box was missing parts! Normally that wouldn't be a problem and we would just wait for parts from the seller. Unfortunately due to Covid the seller did not accept messages; so we had to play the opposite game. Important note: I'm glad we didn't send the first light back before the second light arrived as parts were also missing! It took both boxes to collect all the necessary parts for assembly and installation! *These items are said to be "new". Conclusion: Looks good and is not too expensive. It may be worth it if you're willing to tackle parts and parts issues. Skip it if you need high quality, are in a hurry, or don't have the patience.
