Review on Denso 234 4189 Oxygen Sensor by David Padilla

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Fits perfectly! best in sensors

This was my first experience of replacing an oxygen sensor. This part for my 2000 Toyota Tacoma arrived quickly, but with the nuts rusty and stripped, it took me a little more prep before I just went ahead and installed it. After a few YouTube videos, some rust remover, some dry chisel taps, and a socket wrench to pull the nuts out, I was thrilled that I successfully got the old one out. The new sensor fitted well and came with a new gasket and rubber bushing. I had to do a bit of tinkering under the passenger seat carpet to get to the electrical connection, but overall I'm happy! Wire wrap doesn't feel as thick as the original. About an inch of wiring was exposed at both ends of the sensor and the ends of the electrical connector. I reinforced the cover with fabric tape. Good to go!
