I regularly wear shoes around the house. I usually buy felt slippers which usually fall apart after a year or so and have little arch support. I bought these Crocs hoping to get something stronger and more durable. (Pictured: shoes after 7 months of daily use.) Pros: They are really durable and have good arch support. The fleece lining is comfortable and my feet don't get too hot or cold in winter or summer. Sweaty feet are no problem. Disadvantages: The biggest disadvantage is that they are very difficult to clean. With daily use, the fleece lining becomes very tangled and quite dirty over time. The lining is not removable and cannot be machine washed. This makes cleaning with a damp cloth and soap uncomfortable, but the inside of the shoe never gets really clean. I've been wearing these shoes for about 7 months now and they look great on the outside but the inner lining is always crusty and sticky. Also, it takes a long time to dry after cleaning, even if you lean them against a running fan like I did initially. The second, smaller problem is that the sole is very grippy and doesn't slip at all, even on very slippery floors. Sometimes when I don't lift my legs high enough, they get caught on the ground while walking and I stop abruptly.
