My 5 year old chose this kite. It is very beautiful and we set it up and started it very quickly! She could fly it herself for a long time! Although it does seem to wear out after a few uses.

The kite broke during the first assembly. Due to a glitch during construction, it never flew properly. I'm hoping to fix this with tape, but there's no need to tape a new kite.

Looks good but not as bright as online. It really takes some wind to get this going. Setup isn't difficult, but as you build you realize that a few hard landings will take their toll. Good sale price, otherwise everything is fine.

compact, easy to assemble. Comes with a long pulley, colorful nylon kite. Not sure how long it will last, not the strongest but so far is holding up well on the beach in high winds. Nice little kite to pack and take away

I like it! Picked it up the other day and stayed in the air until I dropped it. Bright colors. As for the material, I'm not sure, it seems flimsy but durable. Only time will tell that it was pretty windy and everything went well. I am happy with my purchase and the size was right.

The kite flew beautifully but I don't seem to have more than a few uses of it. Today wasn't a particularly windy day, but good enough to try. After about 45 minutes of flight, the kite rubbed on the outside and the tail burst open. Really disappointed with it. I would not recommend it for this money.

I hesitated whether to give 4 or 5 stars because it takes some effort to stand up since the butterfly wings are not completely rigid. However, I chose 5 because once in the air it will be a lot of fun to fly due to this characteristic. It's like a butterfly flapping as it soars, and it's great fun to tug on a powerful butterfly to mimic this movement. The kite has a very long spool so it can fly high on a windy day. Have fun!

Very impressed with this kite - good value for money. The material was thinner than I expected but held up well in the air - we took it to over 200 feet. It is quite pretty with bright colors and flaps its wings like a butterfly in the sky. My daughter loved it and we all enjoyed flying it. I replaced the leash with a twist leash which is much easier to detach and retract. So I can't talk about the fishing line she went with. But otherwise it's a great price for a good kite.
