With three Miniature Schnauzers, barking is a part of life, but it shouldn't be the soundtrack. Works at home with 3 dogs, 1 of which barks loudly every time he sees one of the cats. Well, that's a challenge. WAS a challenge! These collars have amazing battery life, are comfortable and produce just the right amount of spray at the right time. It's not an irritant, but the moisture, smell, and sound of the spray will help stop barking. After a few days of wearing the dogs became calmer even without the collars. These collars have truly brought peace to our home. It's a shame I didn't know that sooner! The sensitivity mainly depends on how dense it is. If it's too tight, sneezing or making soft, cute noises will cause irritation. Too loose, and even the loudest bark doesn't trigger it. If you have a medium or smaller sized dog, trim off some excess collar material and then melt the end to keep the cut line from fraying.
