I filed my legs for years and tried everything. I was surprised to see this. It almost looks like a piece of glass or real heavy plastic. The only thing I missed was the user manual. I've tried it dry and plan on trying it wet, but I think it probably works best dry. Two files are supplied in a box and are covered with foam. I would say it would make a nice gift if it came with instructions. I have tried both oval and smaller files. The filing surface is the same, but the larger one is better suited to larger areas like the heel and sole of the foot, while the smaller one is better suited to the toes or other hard-to-reach areas. Large oval shape. comfortable and allows you to hold it in the palm of your hand and work with the file in a circular motion. In fact, it removes a large number of calluses but leaves a smooth surface, more like a thin file. that I can rinse it under water and clean it completely. I feel like it's a lot easier to keep it clean while the emory board file always leaves a trail. Very beautiful. The only thing missing is a guide. Thank you for reading my review, Becky Brooks.
