To be honest I ordered these because I didn't think they could work. All my life I have used very rough products (pumice stone, synthetic pumice stone, metal rasps) to clean the dead skin on my feet. The concept of glass is new to me and I like it. I love that it fits in the palm of my hand, but there are some corners I can't reach. However, I like that it is small and portable. It is also washed at the end of each use to keep it nice and clean. And it works! That's the best factor. The straight stick works well on my big toes. The teardrop matches the rest of my foot. It's nice to have a tin to keep it.

I love these glass files for thick skin and calluses. They remove thickened skin and make your skin very smooth as if it has been polished. Not like metal files, like sandpaper or cheese graters.
