Does exactly what it's supposed to do. Instead of normal antifreeze this year. (mainly for hiking in winter) I decided to buy this device to drain water from the pipes when we are not hiking. I originally bought the plastic version, which requires you to always hold the air hose while blowing air. This blow-out plug allows only one person to hibernate. You connect the quick connect air hose to the compressor, then climb into your RV and turn on all the water valves. This allows all the water to be pumped out while maintaining a constant air pressure. (50psi max pressure) I adjusted the pressure to 35psi and it worked fine in my RV. I will definitely use it instead of expensive chemical antifreeze. (I don't recommend using it in place of antifreeze in northern climates). However, this allows you to pour 100% antifreeze down the lines without diluting it with water.
