Somewhat soft, not pillow-y
These aren't as pictured. Not pillow thickness, but they are foam-ish feeling, as in more cushion than a regular plastic slide. I'm not sure about durability, I will update on that should things change.They are best suited for wider feet, (fit mine just fine) otherwise those with narrow feet would likely need to wear socks.I usually wear an 8 - 8 1/2 in flip flops/slides, (purchased the 7.5-8 in these)
