I have a 2016 Subaru Forester. There are no surfaces that a standard mount could be used on. So I took a chance on this one as there is a horizontal surface to mount it on. What they don't tell you, or at least it was a surprise to me, is that there isn't a single mount in the box, there are 2. The second extra mount is what you attach to your heat register. It's the first of its kind that really holds up and doesn't fall off, even when you turn on the heater. The bracket is well built, durable and easy to insert, tighten and loosen into the phone. I'm not mechanical at all, but I was able to figure out how it all works without reading the instructions. If you have any questions or concerns, this company is here to help and advise.
