This thing sounds awfully like music. I wish I could point out some of the more negative reviews. I thought maybe they are doing something wrong. I'm an audiophile but on a tight budget. I have a large living room which makes budget difficult. I spent a few weeks tweaking the crossover and levels, upgrading to premium cables and nothing has changed. It just doesn't work above 60Hz or anything. It sounded good for the explosions in The Last Jedi, but any music in the movies or otherwise sounds awful. Don't expect a bass drum in your music. This was my first venture into Polk which is very disappointing I won't jump to $300. As a result, I got a Sony SACS9 for sale for the same price, which is way ahead of this one.
