I'm not the most autocratic woman and haven't used it extensively. I had to resize two of the rings so I used this with a ring mandrel to tap the rings and make them bigger. The black rubber portion of this hammer began to peel and chip after just one use on this project. The yellow side is harder but can dent the rings. This hammer got the job done, but it was a subtle play of light that pounded the yellow side or kept the black side from chipping.
