. Reading all the reviews I thought it was a good buy as the original filter costs more than this product. However, this filter does not last as long as the original filter. The original filter took me about 5-6 weeks before I noticed any significant deterioration (i.e. discoloration, hardening and mold growth), but with this filter I change it every 2.5-3.5 weeks because this deterioration occurs much earlier entry. . I noticed that by week 2 (which was not the case with the original filter) the filter turned pink (caused by bacteria) and by week 3 (time to replace) it became much more aggressive. So overall it seems like a good buy, but it costs me more due to the more frequent replacements.
