Inexpensive plastic design and build quality
This gauge has worked for a while. I then used it to check the tire pressure and suddenly the threaded neck in the plastic housing tore and fell off. The metal tube was ok. The weak plastic threaded part could not withstand the strain. I found an analogue pressure gauge with a short braided hose. This works and works well.
