This little device has good performance and a variety of modes. We have another TENS machine, but someone always uses it when someone else wants it, so it would be nice to have a second machine. It is interesting that there are different programs in this block than in our other block. We thought that all the different TENS machines available would be basically the same, but there are a few modes (programs) on this machine that are so different (and feel really good) from our other machine that we're now very happy about it. We have this one to confuse things even more. One of us works with a 4 year old massive shoulder muscle knot (trigger point) that didn't help with pain or size until TENS was started about 4 months ago. We don't know if this is related to the timing of the treatment or to the multiple modes of this device, but after just a few days of using this device, there was a noticeable reduction in size, where there was a change in size before, but not nearly as quickly . There are 4 modifications of 6 basic modes (programs). You press the M button to cycle through programs, but it hurts a little if you miss the one you want. But still, it's also easier to use than devices that use the M button to cycle through the main modes and then different buttons to navigate within the 6 main modes. You can also just turn off the device and restart if you missed something at the beginning of the programs. There are 2 channels running the same program simultaneously on additional pads; This makes it easier to use, but you can't run different programs in different areas at the same time if that's what you're looking for. However, it is good if you want "Vibration” to fit in all areas of editing. Really appreciate that it comes with a charging cable - useful for a gift to someone who might not be very tech savvy. He arrived partially loaded and worked on this load for a long time. I don't know how fast it charged, but it was fast. If I remember I'll take a closer look and update this review at some point. While some of the 'simplified' features might not be what some people are looking for, this is a very good introductory piece and I know the person I'm looking to buy this for as it is very easy to use yet effective.
