I have been using the lens for six months at 50D. As much as I love this lens optically, autofocus constantly brings only pain and suffering, even after alignment with the carcass in the SC. And it ruins all the raspberries. The lens is good, but the picture is of little use if the focus simply does not hit the target. I had big problems with front focus beyond 2m. Off. service did . back-focus. I had to take another docking station for tuning, but even with it, the best result is only about half of the shots at the target at infinity, some smears absolutely out of the blue. Editing in one direction or the other gives an advantage in front / back focus, and in the middle of the range, instead of stable focus, the feeling that the lens gives the result at random every time. You may be lucky and there will be no problems with certain combinations of lens and carcass, or a number of problems may fall on your head. For serious responsible work, I would not recommend this model, problems with AF are already well known, but there is still no solution from the manufacturer that works at 100%.
