After reading the reviews I ordered my two boys a size up and had to return a size smaller. My son is 9 years old and wears drainpipe trousers in most sizes and an M top, almost an L and an M sweater still suit him, but they should also fit next winter. Same story for my ordered S, which has just turned 6 and is slightly larger. We haven't tested it on a boy yet, we'll see how it holds up.
