Worked well for a while, then connection problems started. GPS power was intermittently interrupted. And suddenly it doesn't work anymore. Checked on the second machine, it still doesn't work. Bought replacement cable, didn't work at first either until I looked around and found a blown fuse in the 12V socket Fuse replaced, GPS works fine. I think there was an internal short in this wire that blew the fuse. When disassembled there is a very weak little spring inside that should hold the center probe in place. This also failed. I paid a little more for a better replacement and I think it was worth it. avoid it
