Review on Sfozstra Cat Litter Scoop Tray by Danielle Williams

Like most cat owners, I hate the litter on the floor. I've had this tray for about a week now and I can say that so far it's really helped keep a lot of dirt in the box. I think this tray also goes well with a garbage mat as sometimes they like to jump right out of the box without climbing onto the roof. A mat will help contain the remaining loose dirt. In addition, no unpleasant odors have occurred so far. As long as you get your daily cleaning done, this tray won't stink. Now I had some problems with this box. One problem has to do with the fact that my cats like to pee in the corners. One night my cats piled a pile of litter in a corner causing the litter to rise over the tray. This resulted in urine leaking out of the box onto the floor. As a side note, I use a garbage bag to help with changing the filler as this could break the seal between the lid and bowl. However, for those of you who use bin liners, be careful not to collect dirt in the corners. I would clean it up once you see there's a little pile of trash on the corner. Also, corners can be difficult to clean if they are higher than the height of the tray. The moral of the story is: don't leave junk piling up in the corners. The next issue has more to do with the personality of one of my cats. He likes to make a lot of noise. This tray's design allows it to make noise by opening and dropping the tray door, which creates a popping sound as the door slams the tray shut. Sometimes he did it all the time because he liked it. One solution I found is to put a small rubber lip on it so it doesn't make a loud noise when the door slams into the compartment. However, this leaves a small gap that cats can use to simply open the door with their paws instead of using the roof. Just a fair warning to cat owners who also have a mischievous little cat. All in all I would recommend this tablet. So far it has helped me clear the junk off the floor and it looks neat. My cats seem to enjoy it because sometimes they just hang out on the roof.
