I used to have a Bialetti 6 cup but it spat, spattered and splattered coffee all over the stove. What waste. So I spent more than I wanted and ended up with a MUCH better toy than the Bialetti. It's strong as a tank, doesn't leak anywhere, doesn't spit or shoot coffee. It's just fantastic! And there is a SIGNIFICANT difference in the quality of the coffee brewed. It smells and tastes completely different - and I'm NOT a coffee snob either. In any case, the difference in cost between this and cheaper brands is large. However, the quality of the product and the coffee is much better. Likewise, the look of the device is sexy as hell and the packaging is super cool too. Remember to let a shot of coffee through before drinking your first cup. Also, don't use soap on it. Just wet and wipe off.
