Review on 🚗 Enhanced Performance 2-Inch Leveling Kit for 2009-2013 F150 Trucks - Billet Aluminum Suspension System by Rough Country (Part 568) by Bill Escobar

Might work on some trucks but not mine.

This product will not fit 2013 Ford F150 XLT with standard lower control arms. It is not possible to get enough travel in the lower arm to move the lower shock mount back into the arm after installing the reassembly spacer. This is because the kit changes the direction of the shock, causing the lower arm and shock mount geometry to mismatch. You will need to drop the lower arm about two inches lower to reinstall the shock than if you removed it. With the 2013 F-150 XLT, that's almost impossible. I've tried every trick in the book, including loosening the lower arm, which is interfering with my truck because other parts are jamming the lower arm bolts. I also tried a 6 foot breaker and a spring compressor. Trust me when I tell you that compressing the F-150 is scary as hell. And there still wasn't enough room to reinstall the lower shock mount into the forearm. I gave up after 8 hours. This product will likely work on any truck with a surface mount lower shock. But my particular truck year has a recessed lower shock mount that sits in the lower control arm. Be sure to test this on your truck before you buy. I ended up eating that purchase and buying the Rancho Shock Quick Lift kit. This kit worked great as the replacement shock is the same length as stock but still raises the truck a full 2 inches and rides great.
