Review on Catit Style Scratcher Catnip Jungle Stripe by Lakeisha White

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I bought more for my own pleasure than for the cat.

My cat and I like to change things up from time to time because we like living dangerously. So when it came time to replace the cat scratching post (we previously had a naturally sloping Kong scratching post), I decided on something my cat could also sit on as she was trying to sleep on her old sloping scratching post and slowly slid down in his sleep (weird for me, not so much for him). I wanted to make sure it was something that got off the ground and was bigger to hold all of its 12 pounds, so I chose this one out of three styles. My cat rarely uses her scratching post or plays with toys, so I was pretty sure he wouldn't use that (but for $6, I'd risk it). There was also a good chance it would be too small to lie on, but the idea of my fat cat trying to lie down on that cute little bench made me even more convinced I would buy it. Like any other cat, my cat ignored it at first. Scratch post for the big box he got in ($6 for the big box he got to play in is a deal in my book) but the next day he got on top and started scratching. Then he realized it was better to play around like that, so every morning he would sit/lay on this bench waiting for me to wake up and feed him. I keep him by my bed where he can easily watch me, and the first thing I see when I wake up in the morning is my chubby, grumpy cat lounging on a small cat bench. In short, that cannot be the case. Do the best cat scratching post because of the awkward shape, but it really is a cute photoshoot and worth every penny. The bag of catnip that came with it wasn't sealed properly and it exploded all over my apartment. I've included some photos of my cat using this scratching post because my favorite cat toy reviews on Revain are the ones with photos.
