Review on Oatey 30200 Cutting Threads 16 Ounce by Nicole Mcleod

Oatey 30200 Clear Cutting Oil is worth the money. I've used Oatey cutting oil, but never "clear". They have always worked well and allowed me to make good external threads and thread both blind and through holes. I have found this oil to work just like other dark oils without the heavy coloring that usually comes with the process. If you are "careless" when threading, you will end up getting cutting oil on your hands and clothes. Although this product is oily, it doesn't leave severe dark stains like other oils. I don't know how efficient it is, but it's certainly cleaner to use. I can't fault it for any of the apps listed. A NOTICE. This oil seems only suitable for hand threading and I'm fine with that. Anyway, I can't justify using an electric drive for threading. If you need a cutting oil and have previously used dark, smelly, old-style varieties, I recommend you try this one. I don't think you will be disappointed. 5 stars for a good product at a reasonable price.
