Killed me for sending them back - these are GORGEOUS chairs. They're heavy, strong, shiny and would look perfect in my kitchen if the upholstery wasn't so dark. The product was listed as "ivory" and if your kitchen is white, ivory will do - in my experience, bar stools, even if sold as white, are not pure white. I then ordered it based on the reviews. I took one out of the box and it looked a lot darker than ivory but I put it back together hoping it would work because I liked it so much. It isn't - the color of the upholstery is more of a sand color and it just looked dirty against my white counter. If you have ever bought a wedding dress and seen ivory next to white, ivory is really light and that would be acceptable. It was like the color of beach sand and it broke my heart. I would have ordered a darker set but couldn't find anyone who stocked them. Very sad.
