This is more of a toy for kids than a coin operated microscope, the base is so flimsy that simply locking it with the screw provided will shift it a lot off the target center . If you need to focus, you'll end up pointing elsewhere. Also, it's very annoying since you can't get a small coin in one picture. I will give it to my boy. Announcement that he can see small errors etc.
