This is a well made product that can be used with the Tesla UMC and NEMA 14-50 adapter to charge your Tesla vehicle. I have successfully used this to charge my model 3. WARNING: Because you are using your UMC and a NEMA 14-50 adapter, by default your car attempts to charge at 32 amps (80% of UMC's 40 amp rating) for 30 amp circuits. At best, this will trip the circuit breaker. In the worst case, there is a risk of fire. Therefore, before attempting to charge with this product, you must manually set your vehicle to charge no more than 24 amps (80% of the 30 amp circuit). This is a five star product minus one star for a potential safety hazard.
