Spend more for something better. I really didn't want to spend $40 on a large dark wood serving tray so when I saw two trays at that price I thought a good deal even if the quality was poorer. But they are so outrageously cheap. Will they serve their purpose for now? Probably. But one tray had a big scratch on the side, and one of the handles (which you'll attach yourself) wasn't cut straight and was shorter on one side than the other. Also, wood is a kind of ultra-lightweight material that doesn't feel very durable and is varnished but not sealed in any way. So my guess is that it absorbs liquids/moisture that gets on it during use. I do NOT recommend.
