Look at the pictures. This thing (the snail) definitely doesn't look right, and if left unchecked it can contaminate your juice. I'm surprised to see so many 5 star reviews. This item looks defective to me. Also, like all mentioned, easy to clean. I'm not sure if it should be a cleaning brush. I didn't have them. Wadate: I ordered a replacement and tried this car again. Thoroughly checked and everything looked fine. Only used the machine for 10 minutes and again the auger and other contact parts were slightly damaged by the heat.
